Cookbook recommendation

I asked for and received the Allergen-Free Baker's Handbook by Cybele Pascal for Christmas.  Last night I tested the yellow cake with chocolate buttercream frosting and it's delicious!!  I'm so excited, I can't wait to try some of the other recipes in there.  There are tons of cakes/cupcakes, cookies, muffins, scones, pies, and more.  Everything looks amazing.  I highly recommend getting this book!!

  1. Hi, I've just had a look at all of your blogs and I love them all. I feel like I've found someone who understand what I went through and am going through. My son has multiple allergies also wheat, dairy, egg, nuts, soya, berries, citrus...etc I could go on but we'd be here a while. I breast fed also and went through the same elimination diet. Boy did I crave bread. He's 4 years old now and I'd like to tell you that it does get easier. I worried about him feeling different from all the other children, worried about him being able to attend birthday parties, basically worried about him leading a "normal" life. All I wanted to say is, it gets easier and it all works out. We've worked out how to give him a "normal" life and he does pretty much lead one. It's just me that's stuck in a kitchen all day everyday. And boy do I love my freezer. Cook in batches and freeze, freeze, freeze. ps - I'm also a crafter. Just wait until your baby is big enough to craft with you. So much fun!
